oracle forms 6i and database 10g

hi ,

i have oracle db 10g on my installed win 8 , and i installed a virtual box with an xp os ,

i will install oracle forms 6i on the xp os , and i want to connect it to the database on win 8 , can i do so ?

can it read the database on the host os ?

If you can do it on a normal (second) PC, you can do it in a VM.

Note that this is a VirtualBox support site, not an "anything sold by Oracle" support site. We can't answer question about Oracle DB, Oracle Forms etc.
