Cannot install Guest Additions in Windows 10 TP

I have VirtualBox 4.3.18 running on a Windows 7 Pro Host. My guest is Windows 10 Technical Preview, and I cannot get the Guest Additions to install. The installer starts, seems to make some progress, but then the guest screen goes black, sometimes with a green stripe across the top, then reboots. After the reboot, the Guest Additions are not installed.

PS, both host and guest are 64 bit versions.

Make sure that 3D acceleration is enabled in the guests settings -> display.

Thanks PerryG, it is now working.
It was a wild ride though. When I first turned on 3d acceleration, then restarted and tried to install the Guest Additions, the screen went black as before, but it hung there for several minutes without rebooting. When I shut it down and tried to restart it, it wouldn't boot up. I had to "renew my PC" which wiped all the data clean and reinstalled Windows 10. But then after that the Guest Additions installed.
