Broken graphic in Windows 10 with guest addition

Hey,
with the new version of VirtualBox (4.3.18) I was finally able to install the guest additions on an freshly installed Window 10 guest. :)
I did some testing. With 3D hardware acceleration turned off it won't install (crashes during driver installation and reboots), whereas with 3D acceleration turned on it will install just fine.

However there is one problem: The graphic now looks somehow broken (see screenshot).
Any suggestions how to fix this?

The GAs have not been updated to support Windows 10TP yet.

Yes they have. See the changelog to 4.13.18: "Windows Additions: some Windows 10 tweaks"

Edit: My bad. The version is 4.3.18. Thanks so much to mpack for pointing it out.

@dscribe: if you're going to post that info all over the forums, at least get the version right! I thought the first occurrence was a typo, but clearly not: the version is actually 4.3.18. I silently corrected the previous "typo", but I'd rather not have to do that repeatedly...

mea culpa. :X

Some W10 tweaks doesn't sound all that convincing. Installing the GAs still errors off for me in 4.3.18 .

Sorry you are having that problem. I'm not anymore. Hope you find a solution.

Try to enable 3D acceleration and increase video memory up to 256Mb, otherwise the installer crashes and Win10 reboots.
Win10 working perfectly here, no glitches.

That's exactly what I found out. Thought it's worth mentioning, that you have to have enabled 3D acceleration right from the beginning. If you try installing the guest additions without 3D acceleration first and enable it afterwards, you have to reset/reinstall W10, otherwise the installation routine will be broken because of the first crash and it will not work.

Well, I'm still getting glitches (as described in the start post). So far lots of posts here, but no new information. :(

Max23, without a VBox.log it is difficult to suggest anything. Maybe the host drivers cause these glitches.

Ok, here is the VBox.log. Hopefully this will help. :)

Thanks. Now I would suggest to assign 1 CPU to the VM and test.

BTW, the VBox.log is short, only 46 seconds. Did you actually reproduced the graphics glitches or just started/stopped the VM?

Ok, I din't think, that was possible, but assigning only 1 CPU actually made it worse.
Now I get even more black surfaces and Internet Explorer displays only a blank white page.

Yes, I reproduced it. I started the the VM, saw black background in the Start Menu, where actually should be a blue one and just to get sure opened Internet Explorer, which looked similar to the screenshot I posted in the start post. Afterward I shut down the VM. It doesn't take longer than those 46 seconds to reproduce the problem, since it affects the whole system immediately after start up.

I also made the mistake of attempting to install the Guest Additions without having 3D acceleration enabled, but I was able to rectify it by running "VBoxWindowsAdditions.exe /uninstall", then rebooting, then reinstalling.

Max23, not sure why it does not work on your system. It could be that this is some kind of incompatibility with the host 3d drivers. The log says it is 'GL_VERSION: 4.1.10834 Compatibility Profile Context' which looks rather old (I believe from 2011, around Catalyst 11.5). Current Radeon drivers have something like 'GL_VERSION: 4.4.12***'. I wonder if you could try to upgrade the host 3d driver.

I have an AMD system and W10 guest works fine there with latest AMD drivers.
