I am running windows 8.1 wanted to install windows 10 in virtual box but receive the error
The screen is black with the following text in white:
Your PC needs to restart.
Please hold down the power button.
Error Code: 0x0000005D
i Google the problem received this answer
To resolve this error, follow manufacturer guidelines to enable NX (“No execute bit”), or the equivalent XD (“execute Disabled”) feature, within the BIOS security settings.
But it is not present in my bios and i am running windows 8.1 already installed with no problems any one solved this problem..

No problems so far. I just installed Windows 10 x64 on my Windows 8.1 host. This is my desktop that I use for work for daily tasks plus building OS images for my company.
I did choose the Windows 8.1 (64bit) setting when creating the VM.
