Howdy folks, I'm running VirtualBox 4.3.16 r95972 on OSX Mavericks (10.9.5) with a Windows 7 Pro 64bit.
I installed the Guest Additions and when I switch to scaled mode, the desktop is distorted. A legacy app must run in 1024x768 resolution, or it won't work. How can I get rid of the distortion in scaled mode? I'm attaching a screenshot.

Why do you want to use scaled mode? It will distort a normal window. Use the mouse click and drag or hot key host+f toggle to go in and out of full screen.

It will? I thought scaled mode would keep the same aspect ratio but keep everything smaller. The screen has to be exactly 1024 x 768 - I know it's stupid but that's how this legacy database app works. I just want the ability to shrink it down without changing the resolution.
