Hello everyone. This is my first post and I am trying to follow the guidelines as best as I can.
I am running virtualbox 4.3.16 on my Windows XP host. My host has 2GB of RAM and the basic virtualbox install goes fine. When creating my first host I set up the guest as a ubuntu 32bit host with 512MB Ram and a 20GB dynamic hard drive as per the defaults. I attached the ubuntu iso and changed the boot order to CD/DVD, but when I start the system to install the OS it opens the guest window as expected but then my host XP system shuts down and restarts and I don't have any idea why.
I've tried to install several times but it always restarts. Am I doing something wrong?
