I'm having problems with my mouse integration.

Hi its my first time posting here, I'm fairly new in using virtual box and I'm having a problem with my guest linux which runs on a xubuntu 32bit. I have already installed the Guest additions and its been working perfectly fine when I last left my machine. But when I turned it on and used it again the guest is not able to capture the mouse so its just stuck there in the middle not being able to move when i hover in the virtual box. I am able to use the keyboard and I have tried using my other guests which works perfectly fine. I've tried reinstalling the guest additions again and again but the cursor is not yet able to move.

Is there a factor that the source of this problem is that whenever there is an update on the software I tend to update it at once? :(
Just to add.. My "Disable Mouse Integration" button is disabled so I am not able to click it.. but it shows that mouse integration is on.

The log is incomplete (hint: don't grab the log of a session that's still running!) so it's hard to be sure of anything, but it looks like you've mounted the GAs CD, but have not actually run the installer. On guests which don't implement CD autorun you need to run the installer manually.

Do you know any way on how I can install the GAs? I'm not pretty sure on how to install without using my mouse :(
Thanks for the reply :)

The mouse should work fine, just click in the guest desktop and the guest will get ownership of the mouse, hit the host key (usually the right control key) to release the mouse.

To install the GAs you need to browse to the virtual CD drive inside the guest and run the installer package, after reading section 4.2.2 of the user manual.
