Desktop shortcuts

Hi all.

I'm running Windows XP in a VM on a Windows 8.1 host. One of the main purposes for this is to run a piece of software that won't install on Windows 8.1.

Is there a way to put a shortcut icon on the Host desktop that will open the XP VM straight into the app, rather than having to separately open the VM and then open the application?

Admittedly not much of a timesaver, but useful to allay the trepidation of other users who can't wrap their heads around one Windows running inside another Windows!
