Enabling VT-x/AMD-v in Windows

I am currently running VirtualBox 4.3.12 on Windows 8.1. I have previously created virtual machines for several versions of Windows and Linux without any issues. However, I attempted to install the Windows 10 technical preview today, and I discovered an issue. Any time I try to start any virtual machine (whether the Windows 10 or another one already created), I receive a message stating:
"VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Certain guests (e.g. OS/2 and QNX) require this feature and will fail to boot without it."
Attempting to run a virtual machine now leads to this error:
"Your PC needs to restart.
Please hold down the power button.
Error Code: 0x0000000A
Parameters:
0xFFD00000
0x000000FF
0x0000000A
0x8176C1D3"
Using other posts on this forum, I have already determined that the problem is not in the BIOS (It clearly labels AMD-V acceleration as enabled). I have no other virtual machine software installed, so the problem cannot be that hardware acceleration is being used by another program. I am thinking maybe there is a Windows setting that is disabling it, but I do not know where that setting might be. Any ideas?
