VitualBox crashes when I try to make a virtual hard drive

Every time I use the new machine wizard, VitualBox crashes like this right after telling it to make a new virtual hard drive:



In this case I was trying to make a Windows 10 machine. As you can see, the folder was created, and after looking in, both a vbox and vdi file are in there, and double-clicking them opens them properly. How do I stop VirtualBox from crashing like this?
