No such device whenever starting up a machine

Post by StishStash »

This has been popping up whenever I start up a machine. I'm going to be honest I don't know anything about Virtualbox at all. What does this mean and how can I fix it?

that didn't work. Now I'm getting this, and I rebooted my computer and everything. I tried checking how to use the program, but I can't find my problem. and there aren't any other topics about this.

To Clarify I have:
1. Rebooted the computer
2. turned off the internet
3. ended unnecessary background programs
4. turned off microsoft security essentials and all Avast Shields
5. Recreated the virtual machine
6. updated to the .16 experimental update

and it STILL does this. If you would read the error message. it is a problem with the kernal module and NOT antivirus.
Now someone PLEASE tell me what this means and how to fix it.

Okay, so I have uninstalled avast, turned off Security Essentials, and allowed the program through the firewall. Still getting this error.
