Error running VBoxHeadless

I did post this in the Test Build thread as you suggested. I don't see anyone there getting any answers or asking any questions from the developers.
Is there any hope that I might hear from someone with a solution?
Thank you,
Docfxit

Test builds are discussed in the same topic that you got the information to use the test build.

I'd like to know the correct procedure to change versions of Virtualbox without loosing my guest configuration?
Currently I am running ver. Test build #3: 4.3.17 r96101
I'm have issues VBosHeadless. I have reported it on the Test build thread. I need to get this working. I haven't heard any resolutions.
I would like to try to go back to 4.3.14-95030.
If that doesn't work I would like to try going to 4.3.17-96317.
Thank you,
Docfxit

Changing VirtualBox versions (within reason) never loses guest configurations.
Please: never again edit the first post of a thread and substantially change the content. Questions and answers should be left behind to benefit future visitors.

You don't loose your guest configurations if you install a different version of VirtualBox, just like you don't loose your spreadsheets if you install a different version of your favorite office suite.
Plus, if you post a question, do not expect immediately an answer (unless you have a support contract). They're working on it.

I will never again edit the first post. I moved the first post to the Test Build thread. Most forums don't like double posts. I was trying to keep the forum clean.
Sorry, I won't do it again. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks for letting me know about the different versions. I never expect an answer immediately. Everyone on this forum is really great in answering questions quickly.
I was:
1. Hoping it was an easy answer that could be fixed easily.
2. I didn't see any resolutions to any posts in that thread until today. I didn't know what the correct procedure was for me to discover a workaround.
I didn't mean to rush anyone, I just wanted to make sure I did what ever I was supposed to do to receive an answer if it was available.
I really appreciate all the work everyone there does to make this a great system.
Thank you and everyone else that makes this happen tremendously.

Just in case there is a problem when upgrading from one version to the next, Are there some configuration files that I could backup so I would make sure not to loose the guests already configured?
Thank you,
Docfxit

Although I've never heard anyone lose their guests after upgrading (or downgrading within reason as mpack said), you should take a look at
Chapter 10.1 Where VirtualBox stores its files. It will tell you all about the location of the settings of the VMs and the settings of VirtualBox itself.
