Is it possible to find the physical host's name on which the VirtualBox VM is running from within the VM?
I configured the VM myself and I know the physical host's details, but I have a specific requirement wherein I need to (maybe programmatically) detect physical host's name by being within the VM.

Not that I know of. You can easily discover other PCs on the network, but identifying one as the host for this VM may be rather trickier.
