No, I have no further ideas. Lots of people are running XP VMs on all kinds of hosts using 4.3.12, and not that I know of are reporting this problem. That means there is something unusual about your scenario, but you seem to be unwilling to dig to find out what that is.

If you are getting this issue with 4.3.12 then it isn't a VirtualBox problem. It has the look of a bad device driver - but you would have to explain how a non-VM, non-VirtualBox driver got into a VirtualBox VM. Nothing you've said so far gives me any clue.

The only further thing I would suggest is to try booting the VM in safe mode, and try to pin down what driver it's crashing on.
Edit:  I do notice one other thing, which is that you have not installed the extension pack. This would prevent you from using USB devices.

If you want to continue this discussion then I'll require an updated log file showing that you're running 4.3.12.

My comment was based on the fact that I asked you quite early on to try 4.3.12, and up to the point I commented, you still hadn't provided the log for that test. I was getting somewhat tired of asking. Never mind, you seem to be on the correct version now.

Returning to the problem...

It is the guest that I asked you to start in the guests safe mode, in order to test the bad driver hypothesis in the guest. VirtualBox can't run with the host in safe mode, and it looks to me like that is what you tried.

yes, i tried it on host... sorry.

but i cant start guest in safe mode because the error appears during installation of guest xp... there is no way to start the installation in safe mode, right??
