I apologize for asking a question that must have been asked many times, but I cannot find the help I need. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 host and Windows 8 guest. I have guest additions installed. How do I setup and share a folder or folders between the Ubuntu and Windows? In the shared folder setup I input the path to a folder that is on the host, but how do I see that folder when in Windows? If someone could either explain or point me to a good tutorial.
Thank you.
Ubuntu host Win 8 guest Shared folder
Re: Ubuntu host Win 8 guest Shared folder
Why so complicated, why not just input path to folder and then be able to see it within the guest?

Re: Ubuntu host Win 8 guest Shared folder
Question. How does it work if you have two PCs and want to share files?
You can use a true network share if you use bridged or host-only, but the default is NAT and the host and guest can not see each other and that is where the shared folders really come in handy.
