[Closed] Gaming Graphics card how to make it work on win7

Post by Max Pen »

See: i.imgur . com/HH9ebpV.png

can't link here, don't meet the requirement. But can't upload here either. :(

How to make my graphic card work on the virtual copy of windows 7 ultimate?

I want to play 1 video game on this virtual copy but I don't think I can right now.

I have a Virtualbox graphics adapter installed from you guys but that is it.

When I try to install an ASUS driver it says it can't find the right graphic hardware.

Do I need to enable something in BIOS for my graphic card?

Can I play video games? that is what I want to know.

You can't make the host graphics card work in another PC - your VM is another PC.

To improve graphics performance in the VM, install the Guest Additions.

A virtual machine is a complete machine and has its own (virtual) hardware. This includes the graphics card, which is a fairly basic VESA-compatible one.

Having said this, if you have Guest Additions installed, and select the experimental 3D-acceleration, then the guest will be able to use some of your host's graphics facilities, but only a limited number of them.

In general, games do not run well in a virtual machine, and if the game requires a medium- to high-end graphics card, then it probably will not run at all.

Incidentally (having just looked at the other topic you created - and have not yet closed), it is not appropriate for you to substantially edit older posts once you receive an answer. The edit capability should only be used to correct errors - e.g. typos and missing attachments - which do not affect the substance of your post.

The entire discussion is meant to remain behind for others to benefit from, this isn't a free personal support service.

Sorry I won't do it again. I just thought posting a reply would require time from you the people who people to read the topic when editing to add a solved word is faster and more smooth?

Guess I can't do it here. :(

Was that the only change? Perhaps I was misled by how eye-catching the edit was. Adding the [Solved] word to the topic title is fine and the norm, in fact I'll do it for you now in the other topic.
