Hello,
I have the latest version of VirtualBox on my Windows 8.1 64 bits but I can't install Windows 7 64 bits...
When I run the installation these screens are displayed :
1) Windows is loading files...
2) Starting Windows
3) © Microsoft Corporation
4) BLACK SCREEN WITH MOUSE CURSOR

Then the screen is black with a mouse cursor (who can move) but there is no more...
I have used an iso file and the DVD the problem stay the same...

my hardware :
MSI GT70 2OC-025FR (http://www.smidistri.com/pc-portable/16 ... 025fr.html)

Does it boot if you turn off 3D acceleration?

As an aside: I also notice that you as allocating two CPU cores to the guest, though your CPU only has two cores hence you're leaving none for the host. This shouldn't cause a crash, though it may cause performance problems for both host and guest.
