I'm running following command:
cd "/Users/<user>/VirtualBox VMs/ubuntu 64 Clone"

vboxmanage modifyhd “ubuntu 64 Clone.vdi” --resize 10240

I'm getting following error:
0%...
Progress state: VBOX_E_NOT_SUPPORTED
VBoxManage: error: Resize hard disk operation for this format is not implemented yet!

Kindly help!!!! :( :( :(

Did you do any searches prior to asking this question? It has been asked and answered many times, as well as being clearly explained in the user manual. The issues are always the same: either the new disk size you provided is smaller than the existing disk (and since you're asking for the new disk to be 10GB, that's where I'm placing my bet), or the disk is fixed size, or it isn't a VDI (despite the extension).

Actually, I did some searches on the same.
1. this is a dynamic storage
2.prev size was 5.6 GB and i want 10 GB of space.
3. this is vdi extension

Could there be any other reason to the same?

Is 5.6 GB the size of the .vdi file or is that the size that is set for the guest in the VB GUI? If it is already set to 10 GB it certainly won't resize to 10 GB.
