Install of VirtualBox 4.3.16 stalls.

The installation of VirtualBox 4.3.16 stalls at the screen that says copying files. I'd say the progress bar is a little more than 3/4 long. I've waited and waited and nothing happens. Canceling does nothing. I have to use Task Manager to end the task and a few MSI installer tasks too. My system at this point is screwed up, no Internet for one, so I had to do a disk image restore to get things back to where they were before I tried to install Vbox.

I did have this same problem a few months back. I ran the install exe as Administrator and it worked. However, I did the same this time around and it did no good. I even took ownership of the install exe and that did no good either.

Any ideas as to what the problem can be so I can install Vbox?

I ran a program that is supposed to fix MSI installer issues if the MSI is the problem. I'll try the install again after I make a disk image. Any other suggestions are still welcomed.

Still can't install Vbox. Come on guys, I can't be the only one whose had this problem?

Had this issue as well.

Thankfully system restore works. Then uninstalled. Which failed.

Tried to reinstall again after a reboot and it said it failed. Tried again anyways, fingers crossed, and it worked.

Well it installed anyways, now getting 100% disk usge in VM. Ugh!
