Unable to install Doublepics

[Subaru]

VirtualBox 4.3.16 r95972
Guest Additions are installed
Host: Win7 Entreprise 64bit
Guest: Win7 Entreprise 32bit SP1


I first updated my Guest with Microsoft .NET Framework 4

I then tried to install Doublepics 3.0814.0411.00277
http://www.dotnetfabrik.de/doublepics/download
They provide a 3-day test license

When during the installion process "Doublepics install" runs "Install Utilty" in a command box I get an error:

An external action failed.
The installation will be cancelled


FYI: I have installed Doublepics in a MS Windows Virtual PC with no problems.
