New user of VirtualBox, cannot connect to host machine

Hello everyone

I just installed a VirtualBox on a Windows server 2008R2 host. I did this by remote desktop to the host and installing the exe then.

While installing the connection was lost (installer warned this would happen) and now I cannot reconnect with remote desktop to the same IP as before.

Its probably something small, but does anyone know how to fix this?

P.S. I have attached a monitor directly to the server, so I can access it that way for now.

Issue resolved.

If anyone was having the same problem. Disable the virtual network card that virtualbox creates
