00:00:06.132050 Host RAM: 1884MB total, 646MB available
00:00:07.633100 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000037e00000 (937 426 944, 894 MB)
00:00:07.634675 VRamSize <integer> = 0x0000000002600000 (39 845 888, 38 MB)
You're asking for 894+38+overhead which is way more than the 646 that you have available. Either free some RAM on the host (close some programs for example), or buy some more RAM (if possible). Hit Ctrl-Shift-Esc to see your available RAM before launching your guest.

You look at the task list to see what's running, you shut down apps and services that don't need to be running.

2GB total installed RAM really isn't enough IMHO to successfully run a 64bit host OS plus any VM that has more that a minimal amount of RAM assigned to it. It certainly isn't enough RAM if you don't know how to manage RAM use effectively.

You should consider adding more RAM to your host. 8GB would be a lot better than 2GB.

That step wasn't necessary. A VM only uses RAM when it's running. The same is true of any other host application in fact.
