Windows 7 VBox 4.3.16 NAT Problems

Post by Kartoffelbrei »

Hello everyone,

due to upgrading to 4.3.16. I have the problem, that I only can ping outside a virtual machine but not use any service (secureshell or accessing websites) when i have the option NAT choosen.
I have a Windows 7 64 bit.

Is this a common probleme? Do you know a solution?
If I can give you additional Information or logs just tell me..

I changed the setting to the Networking bridge as a workaround.

Thank you,
Kartoffelbrei

Repost your issue here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=63554 and yes we need to see the guests log file ( as an attachment ) while using NAT.

This sounds similar to ticket https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/13292. Please use that ticket to attach logs, traces, etc. Thanks.

I also have this problem. Windows 8.1 host & Linux guest. If someone can direct me to instructions on how to retrieve the necessary log files I will happily attach them.
