I installed virtualbox 4.3.14 successfully on my PC at home (including the most recent extension pack). I have a HP P6577c running Windows 7 Home Edition. Now, I am a newbie to computers and currently need to have virtualbox up and running on my home computer (I am taking a class on different operating systems which requires us to install virtualbox). I created my first VM (Windows 8 32 bit) and when I tried to start/run it, I received an error message stating that I cannot run the VM. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the virtualbox and I followed the user manual when creating my first VM. I am currently at school, but I will submit the error message to the forum when I get home (I copied it into an email and well...it didn't quite work). Any ideas what may prevent a VM from running on a PC (4 years old)?
