Create error scenarios

Hi, for the purpose of demonstrating situations when Windows throws an error, could any body suggest ways to make Windows 8 throw the stop crash screen. I would like to even know way to create the "Blue screen" Windows used to crash with in Windows XP. I had saw a way to do it some time ago and have lost that page. I am interested to be able to produce this in VirtualBox to make demonstrations to fit our needs with support. Thanks
