Failed to open Session No error Info

I had a working VM (running Win 7, on a Win 7 host) and I shut it down non-gracefully (powered down the VM). The next time I tried to open it, I'm getting error: "Failed to open a session for the virtual machine xxxx", "No Error Info". details shown as below. Any suggestions?

Rebooting the host might be helpful. Also, if there's a saved state associated with the VM then right click the VM and discard it.
