I've searched and searched these forums but I cannot find any solution for my issue.
I have VB 4.3.12 r93733 installed on a Win7-64bits host.
I'm working with 1x Win7 and 1x Win-XP guests, both using a Bridged network adapter.
I've created a new Windows 7 guest and when I set the network to use a Bridged adapter (which I need) I get no network at all.
Using NAT it works but I cannot use this for my setup.
I'm completely at a loss why these other 2 work fine but this new machine fails on Bridged networking.
Bridged Network works on two Guests, not on third

ISTR Windows hosts have a limit on the number of drivers attached to one driver stack. Adjustable in the registry I think. I don't remember the details, you might find it with Google.

Re: Bridged Network works on two Guests, not on third
You could try to un-bridge the other two guests and bridge just the guest you're now having trouble with. If that works, then the problem is not with your guest.
Next try adding back the other guests one bridge at a time. If the problem transfers to another guest, then you're hitting some host OS limit, as Mpack said. (BTW, what flavor Windows 7 on the host? Home, Professional, Ultimate?)
If unbridging all your other guests does not allow the problem guest to bridge, then let us know.

The host runs Win7-Professional 64-bit with 12GB memory.scottgus1 wrote:You could try to un-bridge the other two guests and bridge just the guest you're now having trouble with. If that works, then the problem is not with your guest.

The funny thing is that when I use the MAC-address from a guest that works on the guest that not works, it works....
