I'm a new VB user. The host machine is running 64-bit Windows 8.1 with 6 gigs of RAM and I am using VirtualBox 4.3.12. The Guest is 64-bit Ubuntu 14.0.4 with 2 gigs of RAM.
Using its default NAT network settings, I have no problem using the internet on the Guest. When I am done, I shut down the guest and put the host to sleep. When the host awakens, it is "plugged into" the VB Host-Only network adapter, which of course has no internet, and overrides my wireless connection. Restarting the computer fixes it, but is less than ideal.
I have attached the Guest Log. Please let me know if I can provide more helpful information and what I can do about my problem.
Thanks!

Re: Host Networking Problem
Unless you are using it for some reason, disable the host only adapter on the host. You don't need it to run a NAT connection. You only need it if you want direct access between host and guest.
