Hi,
I'm trying to find help on this with no avail. I'm having an issue enabling Hardware Virtualization on guest. Here are the details:
Host Win 7 64-bit: Intel Hardware Virtualization: YES
Guest Win 7 64-bit: Intel Hardware Virtualization: NO
VirtualBox settings: Enable VT-x/AMD-V: CHECKED
Please look at the snapshot showing Intel Processor Identification Utility results on both Host and Guest.
How do I enable Hardware Virtualization on Guest?
Thanks so much.
Intel Hardware Virtualization: Host - YES. Guest - NO.
Intel Hardware Virtualization: Host - YES. Guest - NO.

Re: Intel Hardware Virtualization: Host - YES. Guest - NO.
VT-x is not passed through to the guest.
Re: Intel Hardware Virtualization: Host - YES. Guest - NO.
Thanks for the reply.
Followup question, if VT-x is not passed through to the guest, is there any work around? I'm trying to speed up my android emulator (which is running on a guest OS) by using Intel HAXM technology.
Thanks.
