Is anyone successfully using Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD) DM-780 for Ham Radio Digital modes? For some reason, I can't get the PSK-31 signals to decode correctly with a Timewave Navigator.
I am running VB 4.3.14 r95030 and Win 8.1 Guest. I have installed the latest HRD version (6.2.71.286) which was just released this week.
The signals look excellent on the waterfall, but the decode is nothing but random jibberesh! At one point, I was getting correct decodes when my Elecraft KX3 volume was turned up to where apparently the IMac soundcard was decoding, rather than the Navigator. I have a filter set in VB for the Navigator "Burr-Brown from TI USB Audio CODEC", and all six ports of the Navigator show assigned COMs in the Win 8.1 Device Manager, and the USB Audio CODEC is shown in the Sound Devices in Device Manager.
I am wondering if there is something wrong with the interaction of VB and DM-780. On the spectrum display, the PTT knob increases the signal level as expected, but there is no apparent connection between the selected signal and it appears to be decoding the noise floor with random UNICODE characters.
Thanks,
Bill
