[solved] VM Won't even start after installation

Post by Deadmau5 »

Hello, I am not new to the VirtualBox but this computer has never had it installed on it. I installed VirtualBox for the first time on this computer which is version 4.3.14 on Windows 7. I just finished installing the software and as soon as I go to boot it up after installation, it just freezes and does nothing, it uses none of my CPU at all (just sits at 0% for CPU usage) and uses 13,540 Kbs of memory. I unfortunately just made this account to post this so I must wait a day and 1 post (which will be this post) until I can post pictures of what it looks like. Although, almost everyone knows what a frozen window will look like Windows 7 (becomes grey and titles gets "(Not Responding)" added to the title of the window.

See the link viewtopic.php?f=6&t=62615 and follow the directions or remove 4.3.14 and install 4.3.12.

My apologies, I didn't think my issue was related to that since I never got any kind of error messages at all. However, upgrading to version 4.3.15 (build 95599) seems to have fixed my issue. Thanks for the help!
