Hi,
I have a a Dell OptiPlex PowerEdge T 410 with Windows 2008 Server R2 with VirtualBox Manager.
I have a Windows 7 Guest VM with Wireshark and I want to be able to see 802.1Q Tag packets.
I would I do this? I read somewhere that you would need TxCoalescingTicks” but I couldn't find that name in the registry.
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Scott

The guest doesn't have a wireless connection, so I don't see how it could collect 802.11-anything messages.

802.1Q is the standard for VLAN tagging, it has nothing to do WLAN.
Vbox should be able to use/see VLAN tagging if you use bridged networking for your guest.
