I have windows 7 64 bit as host OS. Installed Virtual Box 4.3.14 version. On that I have OEL version 6 U 4. I have installed guest Oracle VM pack for extension.

I am trying to open Mozila firefox in guest OS. And getting this error.

The exception Integer division by zero.
(0xc0000094) occurred in the application at location 0xda56aeff.

As soon as i click Ok VM crushes.

Any help is appreciated.

Subarno

Thanks Perryg.

The error I am getting is to launch the Mozila firefox browse in guest OS. It is different than what i see in the link.

Do you think it is relevant ?

A couple of people in that thread have reported the issue, and that is what Perry is no doubt thinking about - but I think the issue is coincidental. Everything in that thread is about checks that stop the VM running. Once the VM is running it means that the hardening checks weren't a problem, you have some other problem.

That said, the proof of a pudding is in the eating. So, you could easily try reverting to an earlier GAs version, or an earlier VBox version - 4.3.12 should be a good choice. Report back.
