Xen Issues

Hello,

So I am trying to get VirtualBox to work on my work machine, but I'm getting an error that I'm seeing many get with this distro. I'm being told that VirtualBox cannot be run in a Xen environment.

I'm not so privy to this knowledge, so basically I want to know what needs to happen for me to be able to run VirtualBox. Do I need to find a new distro? (Currently Ubuntu 14.04) Do I need to re-install Ubuntu with different settings? Do I need to change my kernel?

Again, I apologize for my lack of knowledge surrounding this technology, but any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Basically you need to not use the Xen kernel. Standard kernel should work though.
