Authentication Required

Hi this is my first post .

I installed windows 7 ultimate 64bit in virtualbox yesterday and everything was working great.

Today when I try to use the internet in win7 a popup box appears saying "Authentication Required" " The server requires a username and password" See Screenshot !
and I cant use the internet.

Anyone know how to resolve this ?

I don't see how that can be a VirtualBox issue. I would check with whomever maintains that server.

newbie alert ! Im on a home network and the internet works fine on my mac.

The only time I see a message like that on my home network is when I try to access the html config pages on my router. In which case of course it requires a user name and password. Why else would you be talking to a static IP address?

As I said, this is not an VirtualBox issue, not even a tangential one. I can't speak for what you have working on your host.
