Hello everybody,

i have problemes with my debian distribution. i have a debian image on a vdi file and i am using it for programming wireless sensor networks. unfortunately every time i compile the programm from the shell it takes a long time (~10-15) seconds till it loads the hex file directly via serial com into the MPU. when i am trying to use ubuntu, the time is much less. why does ubuntu compile and flash the hex file much more quickly than debian under the same environment circumstances? also, it consumes much more cpu resources than ubuntu. i am confused...

does anybody have an idea where i can start looking for the problem?

thanks

regards
