New install of Oracle VM VirtualBox on new Dell Laptop running Windows 8.1.
Set up to run Windows 7 64 Bit, but when I try to run first time to install Win7 I get the Error Notice: Error relaunching VirtualBox VM process: 5 Command Line: ....
Tried Running VM as Administrator and made no difference.
Downloaded a different build than the one provide on the web page. A new build. and it worked just fine
Problem solved. Found the new build download file by using Google. It was in this forum, just hard to find.

Hi,
Can you be more specific on the the following:
the Virtualbox image you used
Did you have to remove the existing build first?
I keep getting the same error on HP Probook Windows 7 64 bit with latest Virtualbox build.

Re: (Solved) Error relaunching VirtualBox VM process: 5
I got it working eventually.
Downloaded Virtualbox version 4.3.12, installed it and got the error message that VT-x was not enable in BIOS
instead of previous E FAIL 0x80004500.
Enabled VT-X in BIOS, rebooted and launched Virtualbox and it started the Ubuntu 13.04 image.
So try the build I used above and enable VT-x
