Hi,
I have win7 installed on osx with virtualbox.
I would like to share a folder from OSX with it.
So that when i put a file from windows in the folder, i can see it on my mac.
How can i do this ?
I have tried adding the folder to the sharedfolders, under the settings menu but this did not work.
Is there a setp by step guide somewere ?

Re: Share osx folder with Windows 7
Did you install the guest additions in your Windows 7 guest(not just mount the .iso)? if so, click on shared folders then add, then select other, then navigate to the folder you would like your Windows files saved to on your Mac, i.e., Desktop, Documents, etc. enable Automount. The next time you start your Windows guest it will have a new location in the Windows Explorer side pane. That would be where you would add your Windows files.
