You have selected "XP (64bit)" in the VM settings. I assume that's wrong.

Also, you don't seem to have enabled either 2D or 3D graphics acceleration, so video games are unlikely to be happy. Note that GA 3D acceleration drivers must be installed in safe mode in an XP guest, otherwise the guests built in protection features disables them.

Finally, it should be said that VMs typically don't make good gaming platforms even if everything is configured optimally.

Other random notes, though these don't concern your current problem :-
  • The drive seems to be 16GB, not 10GB - the latter would anyway be a bit small for XP IMHO.
  • You also have not yet installed the extension pack on your host.
  • You still have the GAs CD in the virtual drive. This can cause problems when you update VBox, so it's best to eject this ISO asap after use.
  • Please provide a complete log next time, and compress (zip) it as requested in the link I gave earlier.

I wouldn't think reinstalling XP is necessary. XP-32 doesn't have a 64bit installer, so that isn't an issue. If XP-32 is running inside the 64bit VM template then you might be best to leave it alone.

Look to the other things I mentioned, particularly 3D acceleration.
