So I have been trying to get LinuxMint 4.0 working in a virtual machine in vista x86 but for some reason I cannot get past the first boot screen. I tried the exact same iso on a XP machine and I don't have any problems. I checked settings for both virtual machines and I even deleted the machine and recreated it with default settings but I can't seem to get the machine to even boot off the iso file.
Is there something I am missing? I don't get a error the virtual machine just sits there and doesn't go any further.
I also tried booting in Vista x64 with the same problem. I am able to set up a vista VM, XP VM, and a DSL VM. I haven't a Ubuntu iso but I am going to download that and try it next.
