I have a number of guests installed so I have them grouped together. I wanted to import an XP appliance. What I did was, in the VB GUI, I entered the Windows group, selected Import Appliance, selected the .ova file and it imported just fine. However, what the VB GUI looked like was this...
I couldn't select the new guest and couldn't get back to the normal VB list. I had to quit VB then reopen it. The new XP guest was not in the Windows group after all but in the normal list. It runs fine and I could move it into the Windows group. I'm not sure if what I did is suppose to work or not.
just thought I'd mention it.
