Taskbar not showing in dual monitors
Taskbar not showing in dual monitors
I have virtualbox 4.3.12 running windows 7 pro guest running on a mac host (Mavericks). I have 2 monitors and can have windows open in both monitors, but only one monitor allows me to see the task bar and start menu. The other monitor just shows my home screen with the icons on the desktop. Is there anyway for me to be able to view and access the task bar/start menu on both monitors? Thanks for your help in advance.

Re: Taskbar not showing in dual monitors
This is not a Virtualbox issue and that configuration is not automatic in Windows. Make sure you configure Windows properly.

Re: Taskbar not showing in dual monitors
Dpriest, does this mean your host Mac has two monitors and your guest only shows on one? And you want the guest to spread across both monitors, hiding your Mac desktop completely while you use the Windows guest?dpriest wrote:I have 2 monitors and can have windows open in both monitors
Re: Taskbar not showing in dual monitors
Windows 7 does not support dual taskbar.
There's multimon taskbar, free version is old and buggy and I think may cause problems in Windows 7.
Windows 8 is one giant leap backwards in terms of its UI, but supports multimonitor taskbars.
