Ubuntu guest not able to use 3D acceleration

Hi everyone, I have a question about multiple graphic cards on host PC and 3D acceleration in Ubuntu guest.
I'm using Ubuntu guest on a Windows 7 host. The host has 2 graphic cards, one is embedded the other standalone. 3D acceleration is not able to activate in the guest. I tried installing the extension pack, guest OS drivers pack and configuration steps through the command line, still wasn't able to get it to work. I think the 2 graphic cards situation is holding back Virtualbox from using 3D acceleration because I can drag the guest window between the monitors connected to either graphic cards.
I want to know whether there is a way for Virtualbox to choose just one graphic card to hook 3D acceleration with, and how to check the setting, as well as whether there is a way to hook the guest display to use 3D acceleration on that designated graphic card. I don't care if the guest blacks out on monitors connected to the other graphic card - I can simply just un-fullscreen it and drag it back.
This is a company workstation PC so removing graphic cards is not an option. However I do have BIOS setup access and Windows Administrator privilege. Currently I have 2 monitors each connected to one of the 2 graphic cards. Connecting them to the same graphic card is gonna be tricky because it involves an adapter to be used, and I am not sure whether I will get that adapter or when.
I very much appreciate your help!
