okay, one last try. first of all you have Windows XP set as a 64bit guest. There was only one 64bit version of XP and that was Windows XP Professional x64. So unless you happen to have that version switch the VB setting to Windows XP (32bit). Next you have to choose PCNet-FAST III in the VB network settings under Advanced. If you made any changes to the network settings in your XP guest settings change them back to the defaults.
Other than that, you would have to create a new XP guest, use the above settings and don't touch anything inside the XP guest.
