AV linux did not boot after installation

Hello,

i have spent some time installing AVLinux on a virtual box. info and live cd can be found at www.bandshed.net/iso/, version 6.0.3.
The live CD runs fine, but when i try to install it onto the virtual HD, the installation produces a number of errors after booting, and startup halts mid way. (If PAE is disabled, the machine does not start at all!)
In addition the menu shown during boot is a text menu instead of a graphic menu, even with 64 mb or more graphic memorey made available.
The issue seems to be with Virtualbox, i have just succesfully completed an installation with VMWare player, with no problems.

AV Linux is just Debian using XFCE for the DE with a lot of Audio and Video packages pre-installed so it should install fine. Especially since it runs in LiveCD mode. I suspect either the settings were wrong or it was installed incorrectly. But, I just wanted to point out that it's hard enough to run Audio and Video intensive programs on hardware, keeping everything in sync, low latency kernels etc, but it won't run all that well in a virtual machine. I saw your post on the AV Linux forum btw.

Can you post the <YourAVLinux>.vbox and the VBox.log files? Zipped.

I just wanted to play around with some sound programs, not fiddle with Linux. I got so frustrated I tossed avLinux and installed Ubuntu Studio, which worked first time.
Didn't keep the files from avLinux, sorry.
Btw the same avLinux cc did install in wmware player, after a bit of tweaking to get sound. It was slow though.
