Virtual encrypted hard drive

Hi all,
I am working with an windows 7 image that has built in CheckPoint Endpoint security to encrypt the computer hard drive.

When I attempt to create a virtual machine using this image I get my request declined, I can only assume because of CheckPoint. All other software is virtualization friendly and I have successfully virtualized other environments without CheckPoint.

Is there any opinions on how to achieve this?

Thank you

You may have to wait a while to get a definitive answer from a "CheckPoint Endpoint" user who is also a VirtualBox expert. If I'm allowed to speculate, then de/encryption that's entirely done in software should work fine in a VM. If there's a hardware component (e.g. a key derived from a machine or dongle signature) then it will fail.
