VB Error when loading app

I get 2 errors. "Fatal: no bootable mdeium found! system halted and error: hd0, msdos1 out of disk grub rescues>
Can you help? Thank you

If it says "No bootable medium found" then it means exactly what it says: no bootable disk is attached to the VM, hence the VM cannot boot to a guest OS.
I have no idea what your second error is. Some kind of context would no doubt prove useful.

Right, I knew VB does not see an attached disk. When I review the VB configuration I see a hd and dvd player attached (as boot order anyhow). I'm not understanding what I have set up wrong in VB. Any ideas to what I ahould look for in VB when I set it up?

The fact that you have an empty hard drive and an empty CD does not mean that a computer will boot out of ... emptiness. Start by reading the user manual,
Chapter 1.8.1. Starting a new VM for the first time. You will need either a physical DVD or (much easier) an ISO that you can mount. More details in the manual.

I have resolved this issue by pointing to another hd. Not worth the effort because the target pgm runs *very* slow. It also cost me the bookmarks side bar (recovered), the capability to print and the top line of firefox "file, help, etc. not solved yet.
