Did you install the Guest Additions?
Click Help or F1. See Chapter 4.

See:
Minimum information needed for assistance. I'm interested mostly for the compressed log of a complete startup/shutdown session of your VM.

this is a problem...
Code: Select all
00:00:00.605092 WARNING! 64-bit guest type selected but the host CPU does NOT support HW virtualization.
It looks like you are trying to run Windows 7 32bit based on the file name. You would need to change it if so. Otherwise make sure VT-X is enabled in your host BIOS.
You have bidirectional Drag n Drop selected but as far as I know that only works with Linux guests.
There is nothing in the log you posted that shows the Guest Additions are installed. The Extension Pack is installed.

As loukingjr said, no, you did not. Or, actually, come to think of it,
where exactly did you install the guest additions? How?

ah, that's correct, I installed the ext. pack. So, how do I install guest additions, when I cannot access the menu?

VTX is enabled in Bios

Why can't you access the menu? Press your "host key" (usually Right-Ctrl). That should uncapture the mouse and keyboard. After that you should proceed according to the manual,
Chapter 4.2.1 Guest Additions for Windows.

not sure what to tell you. you may be the only person in the history of VirtualBox that can't disable mouse integration. be that as it may, if you right click on the icon at the bottom right of the guests window
before you click inside the guest, you can disable it there, or for that matter select Devices from the menu to install the guest additions.
