Hello,

I just installed virtualbox for windows 7 and have two problems:

1.) I would like to add my steam folder to play games on the virtualbox but when I click "insert guest additions cd" (to set up sharing) nothing happens, no window comes up...does anyone else have this problem??

2.) when I choose to full screen the windows OS, i only get half of the screen taken up by the window

this is so frustrating! :x I feel kind of helpless.

any help appreciated, thanks!

After you insert the CD image it will show up as a CD Drive in Window's file manager. You have to click on it so it opens then run the windows guest additions .exe
Your bigger problem is not many Steam games will run very well in a virtual machine if at all.

you're welcome. Bootcamp is certainly a better alternative. It's basically Windows running on hardware which will always perform better than a VM.
