How do I Install Windows 7 from an iso-image?

Post by Dr_JVB »

So, I'm trying to create a new machine on my new Mac from scratch using the latest version of VirtualBox (as of June 22, 2014)
1) How do I install Windows 7 from an iso-image file?
2) How do I get VB to recognize a USB 3 drive? Where is that discussed in the user's manual?
Having startup problems?
Thanks,
Jim

It's in the user manual and a "zillion" places on this forum and online if you look.

You don't. VirtualBox doesn't support USB 3. Although you can assign one as a shared folder.

Are you asking or telling? A little more info would be nice.
