So, I'm trying to create a new machine on my new Mac from scratch using the latest version of VirtualBox (as of June 22, 2014)
1) How do I install Windows 7 from an iso-image file?
2) How do I get VB to recognize a USB 3 drive? Where is that discussed in the user's manual?
Having startup problems?
Thanks,
Jim

It's in the user manual and a "zillion" places on this forum and online if you look.Dr_JVB wrote:So, I'm trying to create a new machine on my new Mac from scratch using the latest version of VirtualBox (as of June 22, 2014)

You don't. VirtualBox doesn't support USB 3. Although you can assign one as a shared folder.2) How do I get VB to recognize a USB 3 drive? Where is that discussed in the user's manual?
Are you asking or telling? A little more info would be nice.Having startup problems?
